The Lordship Improvement Association (LIA), P.O. Box 313, Stratford, CT 06615, has worked since 1924 to preserve and enhance the unique qualities and character of the Lordship waterfront community. The organization protects land for its natural, recreational, scenic, historical, and productive value through preservation of open space, conservation, education, and environmental protection initiatives.

In addition, it acts as trustee for all residents of Lordship, paying municipal taxes and maintaining the property and scenic vistas of the Park Boulevard bluffs, protecting access to Long Island Sound and its beaches, encouraging waterfront community activities, smart growth, prudent land development, and improving the aesthetic beauty of Lordship.

All Lordship residents are encouraged to become members through tax deductible donations. LIA is a 501(c)(3) public charity, recognized by the IRS.

Volunteers are invited to work on several committees, including Finance/Development, Publicity/Communication, Environment/Education and Beautification/Parks.
